🎭 JUNIOR THESPIANS MAKE HISTORY: Major arts milestone alert! Our Junior Thespians presented Principal Smith with a heartfelt thank-you card to express their gratitude for helping officially charter Troupe 13773 right here at L.A. Ainger! 🎭✨ Without Mr. Smith’s unwavering support for the arts, bringing this incredible troupe to life this year wouldn't have been possible. Theater arts are officially locked in and ready to shine!
🔬 STEM & SCIENCE IN ACTION
- Lego Robotics with Mrs. Lytle: Things got high-tech in STEM! Students built and coded Lego Robot Bikes to measure and analyze the effects of slope and speed, putting potential and kinetic energy into action! 🤖⚙️
- Sweet Science with Mrs. Joyce: Students put the scientific method to the ultimate test by investigating which Skittle color occurs most frequently in a fun-sized bag! 🌈🍬 They formulated hypotheses, collected data, and calculated color frequencies before diving into high-level discussions on how to minimize errors and maximize the reliability of their results!
- 4-H Guest Speaker: Special guest Mrs. Carbahal from UF visited Mrs. Cerbone’s class to lead an engaging, hands-on 4-H lesson, bringing real-world agricultural science directly to our students! 🔬🍀
- 🏃♀️ PACER Assessment: Way to push the limits! All P.E. classes completed the PACER assessment this week, showing off incredible endurance, heart, and stamina! 🫀💪
- ⚾ Coach Stier: Headed out to the field to launch the Wiffle Ball unit!
- 🏐 Coach Starck: Packed the gym as students served up fire to kick off the Volleyball unit!
- 🌋 Coach Jackson: Took components of fitness to the next level by bringing out the "Lava Floor", testing our students' balance, coordination, and agility in an epic obstacle challenge!
