🚀 Ainger Hits a Home Run in Quarter 2! ⚾

What an incredible week it's been at Ainger! We are officially starting Quarter 2 with tons of learning, creativity, and fun!

History & Culture

  • U.S. History students in Mrs. Falkovitz's classes are hard at work creating their awesome Colonial Travel Brochures. It sounds like a fantastic way to explore the early days of our country! What colony is your favorite? Let us know in the comments!

  • World History is diving into the wonders of Ancient Egypt! Ask your student a tricky question: Which Pharaoh is responsible for uniting Upper and Lower Egypt? They're now experts!

  • Our 6th-grade class had a powerful cultural experience today watching a live play, "The Refugee."

Creativity & Service

  • 🎨 Art Club was a mission of kindness and creativity! Students made Halloween Cards for elementary students and beautiful Thank-You cards for our amazing bus drivers who get us where we need to go every day! 🖌️🖼️

  • Sixth-grade artists are embracing their inner Tim Burton by drawing themed portraits in his iconic "Burton-esque" style! They're also studying the element of art, value, and learning to master charcoal.

Appreciation & Athletics

  • We showed our gratitude for Bus Driver Appreciation Day! Mr. Smith and Chef Hoffman spoiled our wonderful drivers with coffee, donuts, and homemade chocolate-covered strawberries. A huge THANK YOU to the dedicated men and women who keep our students safe!

  • The Ainger PE team is staying active! Coach Stier is teaching Pickleball and racquet sports, and the team even stretched out together.

  • Wyldlife was a blast tonight! A picture is worth a thousand laughs: Mr. Gilbert and I (the writer of this post) were even toilet-papered! 😂 (Stay tuned, we'll share the hilarious pictures when we get permission!)

Ainger Athletics News

We are so excited that the Ainger Volleyball team has been selected! We're looking forward to cheering them on in their first match against Murdock Middle School at Lemon Bay High School next Thursday starting at 5:30 PM! Come out and support our team!

It's been so much fun with all of our awesome kiddos as we head into the spooky season! We can't wait to see what next week brings!
